Happy Birthday Eli!

Eli turned 1 on the 4th! We had his birthday party on Friday evening. He loved his cake and went at it face first! He had a big piece and ate most of it. He really liked his bath in the sink also. We can't believe he is 1 already! He is so much fun and such a happy little guy. His frequent dancing, many expressions, and easy laugh keep all of us smiling. We love our Eli!

Bath time

Father's Day!!

We spent Father's Day with Jerrod's family at his parent's lake house in Granbury. Owen and Eli both loved riding the SeaDoos. Owen also rode in the tube with Jerrod. Eli seemed to enjoy riding in the boat. We all four slept in one room together, which worked out great one night and not so great the other night. The boys loved playing with their cousins. We are looking forward to spending more time with them in Colorado!!

Wildlife Park

We took the boys to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch on May 30. Eli's favorite part was helping Daddy drive. Owen liked the emus the best because they would eat out of his hand.

So big...and cute!

He's getting so big!! I took some pictures of the boys on Sunday. When I was looking through them I suddenly realized how big Owen is getting. I'm so glad they are healthy, but they are just growing so fast!

Easter Weekend

We had such a fun Easter weekend. My cousin Scott and his wife, Kristen, and their two kids came to visit us. We went to Sea World on Friday and the church Easter egg hunt on Saturday. Friends came over for another Easter egg hunt on Sunday evening. Owen now knows how to hunt eggs!

First Easter

Eli's first Easter! Easter is my favorite holiday, so I was really looking forward to getting some great pictures of the boys in the wildflowers. With so little rain, however, our wildflower crop was very sparce this year. But I still managed to get some pictures of Eli with a few flowers. Check out his belly!

Boys and Dogs

We get a lot of fun interactions between our boys and our dogs. Daisy, in particular, loves kids. As you can tell, Durham is a little less enthused. We are so glad that our kids are growing up with dogs.

Boys on Bikes

Jerrod recently had his bike tuned up, which inspired us to start riding our bikes more. So we attached a child seat to each of our bikes and now we take family bike rides around our neighborhood. Both boys love it!

Owen's 2nd Birthday

Owen's second birthday was January 26. He had birthday muffins for breakfast with a candle. Then I took him to Chili's for lunch and they sang to him. Jerrod surprised us by coming home early, so we met him for dinner at Mamacita's. They sang to him also and gave him a sombrero and sopapillas. It was quite a day! We gave Owen a kitchen for his birthday.

Kyle, Amy, Madison, Ethan, Evan, Ashley, Jim, and Jeanne came to visit this weekend for Owen's birthday party. We had his birthday party at J&R Gymnastics. We made Owen a Cookie Monster birthday cake. He loved it so so much! He had such a fun day, he had a hard time sleeping that night. We had so much fun with our family!

Two Boys

It is so much fun to see Owen and Eli interacting and playing together. They are enjoying each other more and more. Owen loves to help feed and dress Eli and make him laugh.
