Eli's Dedication

We dedicated Eli to God this past Sunday at our church. It's hard not to be impressed by the awesome responsibility we have as parents to raise them in homes where Jesus is evident. I'm so comforted knowing that God is the only perfect parent and the Holy Spirit is the only perfect guide. I'm so glad we don't have to do this on our own.

We are all enjoying Eli so much! He is so happy and seems to love his little family. I'm so glad we have him!

This is Eli with his friend Caleb. They were both dedicated on Sunday. They were born 10 days apart.

Owen the Drummer

Owen was very inspired by our church's Christmas program's rendition of "Drummer Boy," so we got him a drum set for Christmas. He spends a lot of time on his "music" every day. Attire is optional....

Sasha and Owen

I was horrible about taking pictures over Christmas. :( Eli got very sick with bronchiolitis/RSV, which occupied much of our time and almost all of our energy. He is feeling much better now. We had a lot of fun in Colorado with our family. I did manage to take these pictures of Owen and Sasha.

Bob the Builder

All three of my brown-eyed boys like watching Bob the Builder on the computer. I thought this was so cute of all of them together.

Rice Cereal

Eli started solids on December 16. He really likes rice cereal. As you can see, our wooden high chair is very slippery. He is sitting up now, though, and is so excited about it.

Gingerbread House

Owen likes construction so we thought he would enjoy "constructing" a gingerbread house for Christmas. He did enjoy it, but I think he liked the candy more.

Snow in San Antonio!

This is a little old, but the holidays have put me a little behind. It snowed in the Texas Hill Country! Owen didn't remember his first snow, so we took him out to see it. He was a little worried about it, so we put some in a cup for him to eat. He likes it now.
